Termly sessions of Junior Jazzercise are run at Brushwood School coinciding with our regular Saturday Jazzercise class time 9.30 - 10.30am.

About Junior Jazzercise
Junior Jazzercise is a perfect program to get kids active and learn the importance of exercise and health. The program combines fun, easy-to-follow dance moves to popular music, fitness games, and light strength training. The non-competitive atmosphere is the perfect setting to introduce your child to fitness. Children are not required to have any dance experience.
Developing strong exercise habits now can go a long way in shaping a child's future. That's why Junior Jazzercise teaches things like co-ordination, strength and endurance, nutrition, and the importance of physical fitness.
Classes are for boys & girls, Ages 5 - 11 years and include:
- Jazzercise routines to the latest music
- fun fitness games and races
- some health education
- a refreshment break
- work on a performance routine
Each hour long class consists of a 20-minute exercise aerobics segment, a 20-minute game segment focusing on exercise and nutrition, and a 20-minute dance segment to basic choreography.
