Lesley went 'Ape'....
Class Manager Lesley successfully completed the Go Ape course at Wendover Woods on Sunday 18th October to raise money for the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted.

Bad Weather Policy
Is class on if it snows?
While ordinarily we always try to keep Class cancellations to an absolute minimum, bad weather may force a late notice cancellation.
Any Class Cancellations will be posted here, on the home page and sent via email.
As a general rule of thumb, if school's are closed, classes will not run.

If you are unsure whether class is running due to bad weather, please either call 07906 199586, or check the website for up to date information, before embarking out on class.
The safety of our students and staff is of paramount importance to us, and any dangerous journeys to our classes will, where possible, be avoided by cancelling class.
GOSH Update
£62,603!
Over 1000 participants celebrated Jazzercise UK's 25th Anniversary with a MASSIVE charity workout in aid of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital on Sunday June 14th, and raised an AMAZING £62,603! (Photos now in the Gallery)

Are we Human?
Ali, Kay, Angela & Laurie all took on the challenge to find out the meaning to the line 'Are we Human or are we Dancer?'. They've all earned extra points for the Summer Promo.
Here's what they found out:
The Killers song "Human" was inspired by the Hunter S. Thompson quote that 'America was raising a generation of dancers'.
Hunter S. Thompson was an American psychedelic journalist and author.
Hunter S. Thompson meant that the US was making people afraid of stepping out of place and following their own beat. He was saying that people were only following the steps they were taught, and were also taught not to change them. In the song "Human" one of the lines is "Some times I get nervous when I see an open door". By this he meant that he is afraid to take different opportunities when they are presented to him, because living in the US has made us all afraid to go against what we've thought for all our lives.
An interpretation would be that as humans we are thinking for ourselves, whereas dancers follow a set choreography without question.
Interesting huh?!

Jazzercise Awards Luncheon, March 2009
At the recent Jazzercise awards luncheon in Wembley, I was thrilled to be awarded a Masters Certificate of Fitness for Further Instructor Training, and a Bronze Prestigious President's Club award for 2008.
